Louis Fulgoni sketched consistently throughout his adult life, often drawing models from life in his home studio in Chelsea, and his drawing skills were critical to the execution of myriad paintings and prints over the years. Drawings remain the least explored part of his oeuvre; many can be found in multiple sketchbooks that have yet to be fully documented.
