In the early 1970s, Louis Fulgoni produced a series of surrealistic collages with images celebrating sexual revolution, homoeroticism and gay liberation, and satirizing corporate power. The collages – which juxtapose photo fragments from magazines ranging from Architectural Digest to gay pornography – are among Louis’s most pointedly subversive works.
